Sleep journal 28-10-2016

 my blog post last night I thought I would write a journal on my sleep and publish it to my blog. I hope you like it.

After I tried to sleep at 9pm, I stayed awake until 3am. To which, I decided that enough was enough and force myself to sleep. 

Mood before sleep: grouchy
Mood after sleep: still grouchy, but a bit more tame
Time slept: 4h30m (approx., excluding brain shut off time)

When I woke up I felt as if I had a hangover, despite not drinking alcohol the last night. ‘I’ll make a drink and go back to sleep.’ I thought, if only it was that simple. My family noticed me downstairs and basically raced to get in the shower. As my bedroom is right next to the bathroom I can hear if anyone is in the shower. 

I could not get back to sleep with that ruckus outside my room. Leaving my sleep total to a horrendous 4 and a half hours.

I am accustomed to sleep and in my dreams to imagine the same things that lunatics imagine when awake.
